There were many chaotic and tragic events that occurred during Hurricane Milton.
Not the least of these was what happened to some of my beloved trees. I have a heart for them, mourn their passing and honor what is left of their remains.
Here sits Dot Fey on the roots of one.
She feels very French to me with her acorn cap beret.
Her sheep roving hair is sewn on and she has adorned it with a bit of Reindeer moss.
Her dress is naught but scraps over a tulle skirt.
Her wings are paper butterfly wings. She has painted wire arms and legs.
She is seated on this tree root that has a rusted wire hanger.
The root measures 5 inches tall and 9 inches wide.
